BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

Open Doors Trust aims and objectives are to provide training for people in the local community to develop key skills for employment and to enhance personal qualities. The need for people to develop key employment skills is ongoing in certain communities, particularly where there are socio-economic challenges and where sectors of a community might be hard to reach. In Luton, and Bedfordshire, there is unfortunately deprivation and social challenges resulting in adults and young people being under-skilled and making it more difficult to find employment. Open Doors Trust is therefore not only concern with developing skills but considers personal qualities to be key to finding employment including developing your entrepreneurial skills.

Open Doors Trust has got tremendous track record in assisting the economically inactive individuals to secure employment and become independent in their approach to finding work. We are currently been awarded an ESF funding to provide Employability & Functional Skills Training for the economically inactive in Luton & Central Bedfordshire.
